The Jockey Club’s racing-themed online advent calendar was launched today with this festive picture of AP McCoy on his “Christmas jumper”. Reports the Horse and Hound

Sporting traditional Christmas wear, AP rode Dr Livingstone, a racehorse who had been painted from neck to hoof in his own spectacular water-based paint Christmas jumper, for the photoshoot.

Double Olympic champion Mo is aiming to raise £100,000 by getting his famous friends and Joe Public (that’s you), to upload your own versions on YouTube.

After seeing Tom’s version of LMFAO’s Sexy And I Know It and his cameo in Team GB’s Children In Need video, I  should have guessed he would be the first to get involved.

Sorry, Guys! Movember Moustaches ARE Creepy

Men! Growing a moustache for Movember? Been getting some funny looks off other people? You’re not on your own.

The fella in the video above has been experiencing all kinds of odd reactions – and he’s convinced it’s his Mo that’s to blame. Of course, there could always be another explanation beyond the facial hair.

Team GB dance to “Do Your Thing” – Children in Need 2012 – BBC One

BBC Children in Need Update:

Wow – well THAT was a night and a half, wasn’t it? We can’t quite believe it’s all over, if we’re honest. But one thing we absolutely CAN believe – that the British public is just as generous as it always has been.

In fact, we’re thrilled and more than a little bit humbled that in 2012 we actually managed to beat the total raised on the night last year! The final total for 2012, of £26,757,446 is nothing short of brilliant. So thank you, thank you, thank you everyone.

The official BBC Children in Need single for 2012 is “Something New” by the mighty GIRLS ALOUD!

“Something New” will be released on 18 November and you can pre-order your copy here. For every copy of the single that’s downloaded, 10p will be donated to BBC Children in Need, and for every single sold in shops, 50p will be donated.

Visit the BBC for more updates.
