David Haye Loses 6 Kilos on rice and beans | Jungle Diet | Bodyshot [pic]

The boxing champion went into the Australian Bush at a beefy 98 kilograms (that’s just over 15 stone or 215 pounds for those of you still thinking in imperial units) but quickly dropped to 92 kilograms (14 stone) after living on a meagre diet of rice and beans every day. Things could’ve been better for the contestants food-wise if they had been successful during the first week of bushtucker trials; unpleasant challenges contestants are voted to face in order to earn food for their camp. Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan was repeatedly put up by the public vote to face the trials due to her extreme phobias and uncontrollable anxieties but was unsurprisingly unsuccessful in most of them meaning that her camp mates got no proper meals other than rice and beans for nearly a week. However, it wasn’t immediately obvious to the female viewers out there that David’s physique was being compromised and he took ample opportunity to flaunt his sexy six pack to those who tuned in.

CASSIUS CLAY AUTOGRAPHED AND DATED 1960 POST TRAINING WORN GLOVES

23320a_med

From the Champ’s early days on the international stage comes a pair of training worn gloves dated to 1960, the year when the brash youngster from Louisville would capture the attention of the sporting world with his electrifying performance at the Olympics in Rome. The burgundy gloves are in excellent condition, with Post Manufacturing Co. of New York tags on the wrists, laces intact, showing good use overall but no discernible problems. On the left-hand glove inside is printed in red ink: “Signed by Cassius Clay, Louisville 1960,” which the original owner wrote. On the inside of the right-hand glove is a strong blue ballpoint signature “From Cassius Clay 1960,” which the gloves’ original owner obtained directly from Clay that summer in Louisville after his triumphant return from Rome.

Boxing | Fury & Johnson Get Rowdy at Press Conference

Tyson Fury and Kevin Johnson meet face to face ahead of their heavyweight clash.

Mike Tyson’s “Undisputed Truth” Show to Tour the USA

(Reuters) – Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson plans to take his one-man theater show on the road across the United States early next year.

Tyson, 45, made the announcement on ABC’s late-night show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Tuesday.

“Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth” is an autobiographical monologue performed by Tyson in which he reflects upon his tough childhood in Brooklyn, the absence of his father and his self-described “reckless and destructive” behavior. It premiered in Las Vegas in April and had a run on Broadway.

Tyson, whose reputation was boosted by a cameo in the 2009 hit comedy “The Hangover,” told Kimmel that his inspiration for the show came from a one-man performance of “A Bronx Tale” in Las Vegas.

The 23-date tour, which features the Broadway show directed by Spike Lee, is scheduled to begin on February 12 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the city where Tyson was convicted in 1992 of raping then 18-year-old beauty queen Desiree Washington.

Tyson, who at the age of 20 became the youngest world heavyweight champion, served three years in prison before restarting his boxing career in 1995.

He later became better known for his erratic behavior than for his prowess in the ring. Tyson notoriously bit off portions of opponent Evander Holyfield’s ears in a 1997 bout and publicly said he wanted to eat British champion Lennox Lewis’ children.

Tyson retired from boxing in 2006.
